2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Three times drivers' world champion Max Verstappen completed an incredible 2023 season by winning his 19th Grand Prix of the year at the always impressive Yas Marina Circuit.

Finishing comfortably ahead of Charles Leclerc's Scuderia Ferrari the Dutchman added to his number of 2023 race leading laps to close his almost perfect year with a total of 1003.

Englishman George Russell, driving his Mercedes-AMG car, crossed the finishing line in third position to complete his disappointing championship campaign.

Such has been the almost complete and utter domination of the sport by Verstappen and his Red Bull Racing team as a whole that one wonders if the chasing pack of teams and drivers will offer much competition during 2024.
