2014 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

The 2014 Formula One World Championship season finale at Abu Dhabi's stunning Yas Marina Circuit witnessed a title showdown between the two Mercedes team drivers. Lewis Hamilton starting in second place behind his pole sitting rival Nico Rosberg made perhaps the best start of his F1 career to take a first corner lead. 

The Englishman controlled the race from then on taking a convincing 11th race win of the year and claiming the drivers' world title. Rosberg's F1 W05 Hybrid suffered electrical problems eventually coming home a distant 14th.

The two Williams drivers finished the teams impressive 2014 campaign with a double podium appearance. Felipe Massa beating his team mate Valtteri Bottas into second place.
