Starting from second position on the grid Max Verstappen took the lead at Turn Three before driving commandingly in his Red Bull car to take his third grand prix victory.
Well beaten in to second place Valtteri Bottas finished second with Ferrari's KImi Raikkonen following him across the line to claim the third step on the podium.
Finishing in ninth place Lewis Hamilton secured enough points to claim his fourth world drivers' championship.
