Starting from second position on the grid Ferrari's lead driver Sebastian Vettel quickly passed pole sitter Lewis Hamilton and raced to a comfortable victory. Hamilton eventually passed the checkered flag in second position in his Mercedes machine. Coming across the line in third place Red Bull's Max Verstappen raced well to take the final podium position.
