Starting from grid position two Kimi Raikkonen took the lead at Turn 1 by overtaking pole sitter Lewis Hamilton. Controlling the race with both good speed and strategy the Finn took a well deserved victory for Ferrari.
Max Verstappen drove superbly from a lowly grid place to take second ahead of Lewis Hamiton in his Mercedes.
