2019 United States Grand Prix

Leading the field up the steep incline in to the Texas track's Turn 1 Valtteri Bottas retained his pole starting position and proceeded to control the race from the front. Behind the Finn Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, Alexander Albon et al, executed differing pit stop strategies to varying levels of success with the eventual finishing order producing another Mereceds one - two result.

By taking second place - ahead of Max Verstappen's Red Bull - Englishman Lewis Hamilton sealed his sixth world drivers' title with two races of the season left to run.
