2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix

George Russell started the second Formula 1 grand prix to be held at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit on the front row after claiming a fantastic Friday night qualifying pole position.

Taking the lead from lights-out the English Mercedes-AMG driver held off the early lap attacks from the Scuderia Ferrari of Charles Leclerc to eventually claim a memorable race win.

Russell's teammate Lewis Hamilton finished in second place, the seven time drivers' world champion driving impressively to come from a lowly tenth position grid slot. Carlos Sainz in his Ferrari completed the podium party attendees.

By finishing fifth at 'Sin City's' Formula 1 extravaganza Max Verstappen secured enough points to take his fourth drivers' title crown.
