Shanghai International Circuit

The Shanghai International Circuit debuted on the calendar in 2004 and has since achieved its goal of becoming China's gateway to the world of Formula One racing. Designed as the race circuit for the new millenium, the modern track features stunning architecture.  

 With its winding turns and high-speed straights, the course makes high demands on both driver and car. Formula One fans can view the race from the main grandstand where 29,000 seats provide a spectacular view of almost 80 percent of the circuit.
