2014 Austrian Grand Prix

Race seven of the 2014 F1 world champioship took place at the newly refurbished Red Bull Ring. Set in a stunning location in a picturesque valley on the slopes of the Styrian mountains the simple circuit with just nine corners staged the sports return to Austria for the fisrt time since 2003.

Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton continued the season long Mercedes team domination recording their sixth one-two finish from the eight races held so far.

Williams driver Valtteri Bottas, finishing in third place, stood for the first time on an F1 podium after having started the race in second place alongside his pole position starting team mate Felipe Massa.  The Brazilian driver eventually bringing his FW36 home in fourth place.
