2014 Brazilian Grand Prix

Completing a dominant weekend of on track action German Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg took a fine Brazilian grand prix victory at the Interlagos circuit in the sprawling city of Sao Paulo.

Starting from pole position Nico led home his hard charging English team mate Lewis Hamilton to record a record breaking 11th Mercedes team one – two finish of the season so far.

The home crowd were treated to an impressive drive by local hero Felipe Massa in his Williams FW36 car, the Brazilian completimg the podium trio with a popular third place finish.

With just one race to run – at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi – Hamilton has a 17 point lead needing to finish in second place (should Rosberg win) to secure the 2014 drivers' world championship.
