2014 Italian Grand Prix

Fighting back to the front of the field – after a poor start from pole position – Lewis Hamilton took an impressive victory at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza ahead of his Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg. 

After a fractious Belgian grand prix, where the two Mercedes drivers clashed on-track, tensions were high going in to the 13th race of the 2014 season. Hamilton proved dominant all weekend impressing with his attitude when out of the car and speed when in his F1 W05 Hybrid machine.

Felipe Massa drove a strong race in his Williams FW36 to stand in third place on the unique Monza podium.

The F1 circus now heads to Singapore with Nico Rosberg having had his Drivers' Championship lead cut – by Hamilton – to 22 points.
