2019 British Grand Prix
Valtteri Bottas led the field away from pole position holding the lead until his first pit stop for new tyres when team mate Lewis Hamilton moved in to first place. The Englishman took advantage of a fortuitously timed Saftey Car appearance by making his own visit to the pits during the slow on-track period rejoining the action at the head of the field once more.
The race effectivly over for the win Hamilton dominated, setting the fastest race lap as he crossed the line to take his sixth British grand prix victory.
Bottas headed Charles Leclerc's Ferrari past the checkered flag to take second and third places respectively.
