2024 British Grand Prix

In changeable dry-wet-dry conditions the 75th running of the Formula 1 world championship qualifying British Grand Prix develpoed in to a race between drivers in cars set-up to respond in different ways to the contrasting weather conditions.

With Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes-AMG ride fairing the best in the dry the Englishman crossed the finish line to claim a sensational 9th British Grand Prix victory, his first race win since the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen's Red Bull Racing machine took the runner-up prize with McLaren's English racer Lando Norris coming home third.
